From a Facebook group to a FAI World Cup race — four chapters in two years.
DRSK – Drone Racing Slovakia was founded in 2024 by pilot Tomáš Karvaš (fpv.doctor), who has been actively involved in FPV racing since 2021. The first step towards the creation of DRSK was the establishment of a Facebook group with the aim of creating a space for pilots interested exclusively in FPV racing – a place for sharing videos, DVR recordings, photos, and above all, up-to-date information about races in Slovakia.
Gradually, Patrik Ivaška (ROC) and Štefan Golian (Fen1x) joined fpv.doctor. In 2025, the official DRSK organizational and racing team was formed. Together, we managed to push the quality of races to a higher level – from professional organization and technical support to securing partners and sponsors, thanks to whom we can award pilots with material prizes at every event.
In 2025, DRSK became part of the global organization MultiGP and FAI (Fédération Aéronautique Internationale). We organize international FPV racing events with the ambition to build Slovakia into one of the main centers of FPV racing in Central Europe.
We opened the 2026 season with the TinyWhoop series, brought the MultiGP Central Europe Regional Qualifier to the grounds of Holíč Castle in May, and in August ran a FAI World Cup event at Prievidza airfield — 35 pilots from 10 countries. Slovakia is now on the map of international FPV racing.
